Westside retains their top spot. With Janacek not wrestling since opening weekend, Skutt and Grand Island switch places. Westside and Grand Island collide at the Norm Manstedt, top end points versus depth, should be an awesome show. Crete enters the ratings as they have rearranged their line-up a little bit and win the Conestoga Spotlight on Girls meet over Skutt, Millard South, and Omaha North.

Prado continues her dominance with no matches going the distance yet this year. Schademann and Coppage-Dortch both remain unbeaten on the year with Schademann maybe having a little better resume’ so far. It looks like unbeaten Beed of Aurora is on her way down to make this an even more interesting weight. it might be a few more weeks before Hull gets to see some action. The fight for the contenders is intense with many good wrestlers having a fair claim to it. We shall see if there is any separation down the stretch at this weight.

Thiele remains unbeaten on the season and retains the top spot. Vanderpool looked impressive winning the Winnebago Invite. The Norm Manstedt Invite should be a huge tell for this weight with Vanderpool, Notaro, Gates, Frihauf, Gonzalez, and Hull all set to compete against each other.

Schultz is the clear favorite at this weight and remains unbeaten. Bohnet looks to be solidified up at 110 and won Winnebago over Cleveland. Cleveland had a big win over Pozehl in the semis. Guerrero looks to be staying at this weight as well.

Peacher looks to make her season debut at the NM this week. Reeves remains unbeaten with a big win over Luna in the finals at Winnebago. Maschmann remains unbeaten and has made the drop to make this weight class even tougher. Darling looks to be very comfortable up at 115 with a win over Robinson in the finals at Conestoga. We should get to see a big-time match between Peacher and Reeves at the NM on Thursday. Plus, Luna, Briones, Martin, Darling, Anderson, Astorino, and Williams are all slated to be there. What a bracket that will be. Also, Medina dropped down to 115 and handed Robinson her first loss in the finals at Millard West. This is a loaded weight class.

Harrill has moved down to this weight and easily won the Conestoga Spotlight on Girls Invite. Linnaus won Winnebago and remains unbeaten. Medina remains unbeaten and handed Phelps her first loss on the year. Osterbuhr moves down to this weight to add to the depth.

Pehrson remains the clear favorite here winning the Conestoga Invite by fall over Eckles. Krivohlavek remains unbeaten. They may have a chance to see each other down the road at the Weeping Water Girls Invite. Kutschkau, Drueke, Painter, Mccrery, Gress, Aschoff, and Blume are all slated to be at the NM on Thursday. This should help sort things out a bit.

Rosseter and Lyons remain unbeaten and look to be on a collision course at the Norm Manstedt. Campbell beat Sutton in the semis at Winnebago before losing to Rosseter in the finals. Jensen beat Brown in the finals at Conestoga. Nagatani has not wrestled since the Fracas. The NM is slated to have Rosseter, Lyons, Campbell, Jensen, Sutton, McGillvray, Arrants, Rediger, and Alexander.

Not much change at this weight class. Meiman gave Pehrson a run at the Conestoga Invite but came up short 4-2. Zamora beat Davis at Winnebago. Davis, Second, Hansen, and Wemhoff should get a chance to see each other at the NM.

Ritchey and Kenny remain unbeaten. Sipp won the Conestoga Invite. Maxey did not wrestle at Winnebago. Stice remained up at 145, so we will see if she stays or not over the next couple of weeks. Butterfield has won her last two invites including Winnebago.

Barber did not wrestle at Winnebago. Graser has remained up at 155 so far. Fiene remains unbeaten winning Winnebago and Conestoga. We should see Barber, Kuehler, Ahrens, Wemhoff, Escobar, and Stice or Graser at this weight at the NM. That will be a fun weight class to watch.

No change at this weight class. Vasser looks like she is back in action for Nebraska City. She will try to knock some rust off this weekend at the Phil and Pat Pisale Invite. Jones won the Conestoga Invite to remain unbeaten. Poppe, Vergara, Shank, Taylor, and Carcamo should all mix it up at the NM this week.

Hinneh has a win over Barber already this season with her only loss was to out of state competition. Edwards remains unbeaten and Barber won over Earth in the finals at Winnebago. DonJuan Mendoza has dropped down to this weight and won the Conestoga Invite. Edwards and Barber should get to see each other at the NM.

Heavyweight has become exciting to watch. There are many talented ladies at this weight class and they are starting to beat up on each other. DeCora had a big revenge victory over Sohm for her first loss of the year. Espino has only lost to out of state. Herron has wins over Bryan-Aldrich who both won their respective tourneys last week. Ramirez beat Dannelly to take runner-up at Conestoga. Espino, Herron, and Dannelly should get a chance to compete at the NM.
