NSWCA 2023 NSAA Boys State Dual Championships Preview-Class C

Class C
The NSAA State Dual Championships for Class C kick off at 10:30 am in Kearney this weekend with undefeated Wilber-Clatonia taking on #8 seed, St. Paul. WC brings a loaded roster and plenty of dual experience as they already have 17 wins under their belt so they’ll be tough to beat. However, St. Paul’s young team certainly isn’t a slouch and have plenty of wrestlers on the bench to do some jostling around. These two have seen each other this season and it was a close one. Don’t count St. Paul out in this dual!
#5 Raymond Central (15-2) will take on #4 Battle Creek in what should be a tussle. The scrappy Battle Creek team is 8-3 with a tough schedule, including one where #6 Pierce squeaked by 39-36. Raymond Central is a bit banged up and will have to fill a couple holes in their roster to come away with a win.
#3 Fillmore Central (13-3) battles #6 Pierce (7-5) on mat 5 in the opening round. FC has some holes in the lower weights but more experience. If Pierce can take advantage of their full roster this will be a fun one to watch!
#7 Logan View (10-2) faces the #2 Broken Bow Indians (16-1) on Mat 4 with plenty of horsepower on both sides. Logan View is battling injuries and will have their hands full with the battle tested Indians.
This class looks to have a lot of shake ups and the #1 seed won’t go untested! Duals are unpredictable and this class will be a fun one to watch!
