2. Kendall Schindler
David City

3.Jace Martin
Wood River

4. Layne Baker
St. Paul

5. Eli Kult
Yutan

6. Brock Goebel
Syracuse

This weight should be crazy good. It seems like everyone in the field has a win or loss over someone above or below them. Potential quarter final matches to watch are Parks vs. Goebel and Martin vs. Baker on the top side Schindler vs. Prado on the bottom. Lot’s of team race implications here with Parks of O’Neill and Baker of St. Paul in this bracket.

113
1. Zaiyahn Ornelas
Wilber-Clatonia

2. Ayden Wintz
Battle Creek

3. Maverick Heine
Cedar Catholic

4. Cody Barton
Malcolm

5. Gavin Cheek
Mitchell

6. Johnny Trejo
Wood River

Ornelas is the man to beat in this bracket. Both he and Wintz are returning state champions. Only one walks away with the title this year. The first round matchup of Cheek of Mitchell and Zegers of Milford is intriguing. A potential Wintz vs. Heine in the quarter finals will also be one to watch.

120
1. Ryan Stusse Jr.
Battle Creek

2. Hayden Schmit
David City

3. Cash Stanek
North Bend

4. Chauncey Watson
Broken Bow

5. Zane Woodward
Hershey

6. Ace Hobbs
Mitchell

Stusse picks up a win over Schmit in the district final. Freshman Woodward District champ with a win over Watson showed he was a dangerous man. Potential Eschiti of Wilber-Clatonia vs. Schmit of David City looks to be a good one. Hobbs of Mitchell vs. Santiago of Norfolk Catholic in the first round also looks to be a great match-up.

126
1. Bodie Hochstein
Cedar Catholic

2. Robbie Fisher
Crofton-Bloomfield

3. Cole Spahr
Tri-County

4. Devin Nuttleman
Cross County/Osceola

5. Cade Harsin
Minden

6. Parker Schutz
Hi-Line

Hochstein and Fisher, separated on the map by just a few miles, find themselves as district champs on opposite sides of the bracket. Spahr of Tri County finishes a surprising 4th at his district, which looks to be a tough draw for Harsin of Minden in an opening round match. Deep field here at 126 makes this one look like a ton of fun to watch.

132
1. Colton Kelley
Kearney Catholic

2. Ethan Elliott
Hershey

3. Easton Hochstein
Cedar Catholic

4. Koltdyn Heath
Minden

5. Mason Nitz
Elkhorn Valley

6.Dakota Gibson
Doniphan/Trumbull

Colton Kelley with a big win over Elliott in the district final places number one and number two on opposite sides of the bracket. Kelley appears to be the big winner here with Nitz, Heath, and and Hochstein all being found on the bottom side of the bracket along with Elliott. Potential Elliott vs. Hochstein quarter final will be fireworks.

138
1. John Alden
O’Neill

2. Iverson Mejia
Wilber-Clatonia

3. Braeden Kleinschmit
Cedar Catholic

4. Conner Kohout
Milford

5. Braxon Reynerson
Broken Bow

6. Isaac Eckert
Elkhorn Valley

Alden taking care of business earns the top seed. The first round match-up of Gastelum of Madison and Kohout of Milford looks to be a big one. Lots of team implications in this bracket with Bow, O’Neill, Wilber-Clatonia and Minden looking to score points in that race.

144
1. Tristan Burbach
Central City

2. Will Springer
Valentine

3. Kyler Vincent
Gordon-Rushville

4. Maverick Hagemann
Elkhorn Valley

5. Sean Stanton
Milford

6. Zaden Delgado
Doniphan/Trumbull

Moninger from Broken Bow vs. Hochstein from Cedar Catholic in round 1 looks to be a great match-up. Potential quarter finals matchup between Mathews and Bolling would be the rubber match between the two of them. Another one of those weights that will loom large in the team race. Highly ranked wrestlers from Minden, O’Neill, Wilber-Clatonia, Broken Bow and Cedar Catholic are all in the mix here.

150
1. Orrin Kuehn
Minden

2. Wyatt Olberding
Falls City

3. Pryor Mathews
O’Neill

4. Brenden Bolling
Pierce

5. Jordan Marsh
Wilber-Clatonia

6. Jesse Kult
Yutan

Bailey is a returning state champ and the favorite here. Meinecke is so talented and only a sophomore. The lower half of this bracket just looks nails tough. Kansteiner vs. Baum first round = great match with a ton on the line for Bow.

157
1. Quinn Bailey
Chadron

2. Alex Meinecke
St. Paul

3. Bricen Wilkie
Malcolm

4. Bryce Kunz
Central City

5. Dakota Baum
Broken Bow

6. Chance Faust
Logan View

Wyatt Tramp is still undefeated as a junior. What a warrior. Bryson Thompsen continues to wrestle well he has a tough potential quarterfinal matchup with either Halsey of Elkhorn Valley or Welke of O’Neill. Stassines vs. Peterson could be a match in the quarters as well featuring ranked wrestlers.

165
1. Wyatt Tramp
Crofton-Bloomfield

2. Treven Stassines
Fillmore Central

3. Travis Halsey
Elkhorn Valley

4. Bryson Thompsen
St. Paul

5. Cy Peterson
Syracuse

6. Ben Mcgee
Amherst

This weight after number 1 has been a rankings nightmare. Chaplin has two wins by fall over Thompson. I have little confidence this weight will shake out anywhere close to how these rankings are laid out. Let the fun begin. Reeves of Chase County vs. Petererson of Raymond Central is a great first round matchup as is Korth of Cedar Catholic vs. Chaplin. St. Paul, Broken Bow, Battle Creek all with a ton on the line at this weight.

175
1. Ashton Meinecke
St. Paul

2. Brek Thompson
Battle Creek

3. Kyle Peterson
Raymond Central

4. Kreyton Rockefeller
Gibbon

5. Brice Chaplin
Broken Bow

6. Brock Jeannoutot
Crofton-Bloomfield

C-4 District well represented in these rankings. Denson and Moudry are seeded in the opposite spot as the rankings with Moudry getting the 1 seed and Denson the 2. A first round matchup of Hodson of Red Cloud/Blue Hill and Kuszak of St. Paul looks intriguing. Potential matchup of Peters and Moudry in the quarterfinals feels more like a semifinal match.

190
1. Max Denson
Broken Bow

2. Trent Moudry
Bishop Neuman

3. Cael Peters
Mitchell

4. Jackson Turner
Fillmore Central

5. Cooper Stokebrand

6. Braxton Janda

Peterson, Wells, and Shabram all come out of the C-4 district. The quarter bracket with Hudson, Gall, Shabram and Jeannoutot looks to be the most intriguing. Great first round matches along with a hugely important quarter final here.
