NSWCA Boys Class B Rankings 2/13/25

Class B Tournament Rankings

  1. Omaha Skutt
  2. Bennington
  3. York
  4. Waverly
  5. Cozad
  6. Lexington
  7. Central City
  8. Blair
  9. Plattsmouth
  10. Beatrice

Skutt remains the overwhelming favorite here. Bennington, Waverly, and York are all battling for the runner-up trophy by the thinnest of margins. The next group Cozad, Lexington, Central City, and Blair are all very similar with State Champion potential individuals but not quite the depth of the teams ahead of them. The difference between these four teams is razor thin. The next group that is very close in points is #9 through #14 with Plattsmouth and Beatrice edging out teams like Scottsbluff, Aurora, McCook, and Sidney for the last spots in the top 10.

No changes here even though Boyer took a loss to Laney (who is on the rise) at their conference tournament. We keep Boyer at #3 for now because of the entire body of work throughout the season.

Olson beat Ourada at the State Duals to take over the #1 spot. The rest stayed the same.

  5. Liam Moline, Mount Michael
  6. Merritt Olberding, Fort Calhoun

Lovejoy drops out after the loss to McCrery at the State Duals. McCrery is also one of those kids on the rise. That moves Moline up and Olberding into the #6 spot.

Schmitt beat Karlin to drop Karlin below Schmitt which moves Svoboda and Schmitt up a spot. No other changes.

Kreikemeier has split with both Christo and Diaz with the most recent wins going to Christo and Diaz so that drops Kreikemeier below them two. All the rest remain the same.

Schoenbeck loses to Davis and Leininger to drop him out. That brings Davis in at #5. This weight continues to be a wild mess from #2 through #11 where just about anyone of those can end up in the finals against Ziola.
